The aim of the course is to give understanding of smart and high-performance materials used in material and textile engineering. After completing the course, the student is able to • understand what are smart and high-performance materials, their properties and significance • examine the applications of smart and high-performance materials in material and textile engineering • analyze the sustainability aspects of smart and high-performance materials, including their life cycle, recyclability, and environmental impact
