FUSILLI project
Fostering the Urban Food System Transformation through Innovative Living Labs Implementation (FUSILLI)
With urbanisation and rapid population growth, global food demand is expected to double by 2050. Most of all food produced is consumed in cities, so their food systems need to be made more efficient and sustainable.
FUSILLI, a joint European project, supported participating cities and urban areas in the global challenges of food systems. Innovation and experimentation were at the heart of the project.
The active time of the project was 1.8.2020−31.12.2024.
This project has been funded from European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the grant agreement No 101000717.
