The project will create an innovation platform based on visual arts know-how, which will cross-disciplinary combine visual arts, technology and sustainable tourism. The platform will be based on a collaboration between three universities (TUNI, SAMK, LAB) and three Unesco Global Geoparks (Salpausselkä, Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas, Saimaa). Multidisciplinary themes will be promoted through pilots and training.

The project aims to build mechanisms into an innovation platform to reconcile artistic thinking, problem-solving skills and sustainable tourism approaches. Another objective is to build skills for working in a multi-professional team. These skills will be developed through training, in particular in terms of production and the identification of cross-sectoral approaches. The third objective is to model and share the cooperation between visual arts, technology and sustainable tourism experts in the Geopark areas and to operationalise this cooperation on a permanent basis, which also has international export potential.
