DINO - Advanced digitalisation for the manufacturing SMEs

Co-funded by the European Union
Tampere University
Duration of project1.10.2025–30.9.2028

In the Advanced digitalisation for the manufacturing SMEs (DINO) project, Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and Tampere University (TAU) develop, pilot and demonstrate data sharing between production facilities.

The project has chosen the metal industry as the target sector, as the digitization of the industry is quite low, but for example the digital product passport initiative run by the European Commission will mean that many operators in the metal industry will also find themselves in a situation where data should be shared between different offices or even organizations.

Main updates and results of this project can be found from the project's Finnish pages.
