The BioAI project develops AI-based foresight tools that help businesses in the Satakunta region anticipate changes in their operating environment and strengthen their competitiveness.
'The bioeconomy is undergoing rapid transformation due to technological development, rising production costs, changing consumption patterns and the impacts of climate change. At the same time, the role of artificial intelligence is growing rapidly, creating new opportunities but also new challenges for businesses.
The BioAI project develops new AI-based foresight tools that support companies in identifying and anticipating future changes in their operating environment. The work focuses particularly on two key sectors of the regional bioeconomy: water-related economic activities and the food value chain.
The project aims to strengthen the ability of regional businesses to utilise new technologies, develop innovations and support sustainable growth. At the same time, the project enhances regional expertise in smart specialisation and promotes collaboration between companies, educational institutions and research organisations.
