The research consortium of the AIKO projects consists of the AIKO-TAMK project as well as the parallel AIKO-OAMK and AIKO-TAU projects.
Through this research consortium, we support the research, development, innovation, and competence needs related to artificial intelligence and machine learning of the various parties involved.
Background
Methods of artificial intelligence and machine learning have gained popularity across various industrial sectors in recent years.
Goal
The projects aim to organize workshops, develop publicly beneficial demonstrations utilizing data from selected companies, and produce a guide for applying artificial intelligence targeted at SMEs in the automation sector. In addition, an ecosystem and network will be established for sharing AI expertise, and international collaboration will be conducted with various stakeholders.
Impact
Changes are now occurring so rapidly that the competence of employees working in the field must be significantly strengthened to ensure that artificial intelligence applications can be utilized to their fullest potential in Finnish industry.
