The main result of the project is GeroTestbed, the first technology testing and development environment specialized in promoting the functional ability of the elderly.
The GeroTestbed will function as a nationally and internationally significant research and development environment for (SME) companies, higher education institutions and researchers. Special attention will be paid to testing and development activities related to software and information utilization alongside hardware-oriented activities.
GeroTestbed will become part of the Satakunta Testbed network and form a new flagship, which will be also recognized as nationally significant.
