About me
I work as a quality manager at the university. Quality work supports the University's core mission, strategic objectives and impact in line with the values of the university community. Quality management is the informed development of activities in accordance with the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA). At the University, quality work is guided by a quality group led by Vice Rector Marja Sutela.
The University's quality system is described in the Quality Manual and supplementary guidelines can be found in the Intranet.
The University has been awarded the audit label of the National Education Evaluation Centre. It shows that the University's quality work is in line with European quality assurance principles. The label is valid until 25.8.2029. Quality assessment is part of the Bologna process. The European standards and guidelines for quality management in higher education are described in the "Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area" (ESG2015).
