Tiedon valoa seminar: Biology of aging: how and why we age?

The Tampere IAS Talks -seminar by the Tampere Institute for Advanced Study explores biological ageing as one of the key underlying factors shaping human health. Internationally renowned researcher, docent Sara Hägg from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm and senior research fellow Juulia Jylhävä from Tampere University shed light on what happens in our cells as we age, why some people age faster than others, and to what extent the aging process can be slowed.
