From 18 March, the façade of Päätalo will be illuminated with the colours of Ukraine on the city centre campus. Charles Sandison will adapt his work of light art to reflect yellow and blue. Tampere universities community will continue to show its support also by flying two flags.

In the dark seasons, the light art called Universitas created by Charles Sandison in 2019 is reflected on the façade of Päätalo on Tampere University’s city centre campus. The work is now coloured in the yellow and blue of the Ukrainian flag as a sign of sympathy and support.

Sandison’s art will be projected daily from 19.00 to 6.00 for two weeks.

The universities community will also flow the Ukrainian flag between two Finnish flags on three campuses. The flying of the flags will begin on the city centre campus on Monday 21 March. The other campuses will join the campaign later.
