TAMK has made its biggest education export deal so far.

TAMK's biggest education export deal so far was sealed on 5 March. We are exporting our four year Media and Arts degree programme to Alexandria, Egypt. In practice, half of the programme will be taught by our teachers, half by Egyptian teachers who will be trained in Finland.

Peter Perttula from TAMK EDU says that the deal was a result of a long process and hard work. This and the previously exported degree programme of International Business have been the first degree programmes sold to Egypt. Perttula hopes that in the future we will also see, for example, nurses and engineers getting a Finnish education in Alexandria.

Director Carita Prokki from TAMK EDU is also very happy with the trade.

"We took a huge towards being a more international university. Being international means that we have to be open for new ways of operating. This is a very pleasant challenge for all of us in TAMK."
