at 2:00 PM Johannes Riquet (professor of English Literature): “Lightning has struck the rails”: Train Fictions and the Disruption of Modern Space

 

at 2:30 PM Johanna Vaattovaara (suomen kielen professori): Sosiolingvistinen kielikäsitysten tutkimus ja sen yhteiskunnallinen merkitys

 

at 3:00 PM Sanna Turoma (venäjän kielen ja kulttuurin professori): Kielten, kulttuurien ja tieteenalojen välissä - klassikkohumanisti Roman Jakobson

 

at 3:30 PM The lectures will be followed by a reception in the lobby of Main Auditorium.

 

All lectures in Finnish will be interpreted simultaneously into English. Due to the limited availability of headsets, booking in advance is required.
