At the Medical Physics and Technology Days, a poster exhibition will be organized featuring diploma and master's theses completed in 2024 within the association's field. The best poster(s) will be awarded. The prize amount is 2024 €, which can be given to one person or divided between several people. Those who completed their final work or graduated in the field of medical physics or technology in 2024 are invited to submit abstracts for the poster exhibition. The poster can be in either Finnish or English.
In addition to students' theses, the event includes oral presentations from both local researchers and national/international companies. Oral presentations will showcase local research in medical physics and engineering, and introduce companies operating in the field. In addition to master's degree and diploma thesis posters, the organizers hope to have their own brochures or presentation posters of teaching and research institutes and graduate schools. Likewise, presentation points from companies in the field are welcome.
The second day of the event is dedicated to doctoral research (PhD students) presentations in field of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering.
Deadline for master's/diploma thesis and PhD student presentations is 31 January 2025.
