Have you thought about cooperation with Tampere University degree programmes and how to get started? Are you interested in hiring an international talent but you’re not sure what skills and competences they learn in their studies?
Welcome to discuss these themes together with Tampere University international degree programmes on Tuesday 23.5. at 14-16 to the city centre campus of the university (Kalevantie 4)! We will meet in the Lyhty pavilion located in the inner courtyard of the main building. In addition to the event programme and discussion, light snacks will be provided.
The event is aimed at companies and other employing organsations. Our goal is to
• describe the skills and competences which international students can offer to your company
• present possible forms of cooperation
• discuss the needs and wishes of employing organisations and
• recognise what cooperation between companies and the university can bring at its best!
Joining the discussion will be representatives from three different Master’s degree programmes in English, Leadership for Change, Environmental Engineering and Electrical Engineering. These programmes come from different fields and produce different competences but have a focus on sustainability transition in common: how do talents from different fields solve challenges related to sustainability transition?
The event agenda will include inspiring talks, a student panel and the chance to discuss with degree programme representatives.
Sign up by filling in the sign-up form available through this link by Fri 19.5.!

Environmental Engineering
The International Master's Programme in Environmental Engineering equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to promote sustainable development. The curriculum focuses on key themes such as sustainability and water treatment. Through the programme, students improve their systems thinking skills, acquire expertise in lifecycle assessment methodology, and hone their abilities to design water networks and treatment processes. With many of our students aspiring to establish their careers in Finland, this programme provides an excellent opportunity to achieve their professional goals.
Leadership for Change
Master's Degree Programme in Leadership for Change enables developing such knowledge and expertise that is needed to lead and analyse complex change processes. It responds to the need for new kinds of leadership skills, which are in demand at local, national, international, and global levels.
By interacting with staff members from various disciplines – business, governance, and politics and international relations – as well as with different societal stakeholders, students will learn to foster new forms of engagement across sectors of the economy and society. The programme prepares the graduates to work in the private, public or third sector in tasks that involve analysing, planning and steering complex change processes.
The three specialisations of the programme (European and global politics, Governance for Sustainable Change, and Sustainable Business Management) give students an excellent opportunity to focus on their areas of interest while gaining a broader understanding of the central topics, such as sustainability, of the programme.
