Board of Tampere University Foundation invites two applicants for the final phase of finding President

The Board of Tampere University Foundation convened on 13 March 2023 to decide on the top candidates invited to the final phase of the recruitment process of President. The top candidates are Jari Hämäläinen, Vice Rector of LUT University, and Keijo Hämäläinen, Rector of the University of Jyväskylä.
The Board was unanimous on the point that the two candidates met best the requirements decided by the Board and detailed in the job announcement.
The Board will decide on the appointment of the President on 21 March 2023.
