Jyrki Mäkelä

I am a physicist, researcher of aerosol science, physics professor and unit head for Physics Unit at Tampere University (TAU). I have carried out ca 20 years of research on atmospheric aerosol phenomena, mainly experimental work, at University of Helsinki and another 20 years of experimental research on generating functional nanomaterials at Tampere University (formerly Tampere University of Technology).

Additionally, I have given lecture courses on Aerosol Physics, Thermal Physics, Transport Phenomena and Structure of Matter, as well as on general university physics topics.
