About

Postdoctoral researcher at Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology, working with both groups professor Jari Hyttinen (Computational Biophysics and Imaging) and professor Minna Kellomäki's (Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering) research groups. I came from a Chemical Engineering background. My works mainly focus on fabrication, characterization, optimizing and application of porous emulsion templated scaffolds for cell and tissue studies with and without body-on-chip systems. Also joining Centre of Excellence in Body on-Chip Research group. Some my other research interests are including emulsion sciences, surface and interface, emulsion-based biomaterials, surfactants, plant based bioactive compound studies, microwave-assisted extraction and rheological studies.

Has worked as the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies (IJIRSS.com ) from 2017 to 2021 and currently I am one of the editors in this journal.

Awards

  • 3 Gold and 6 silver Medals from research projects in Malaysia's International events (Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE-2014), Creation Innovation Technology and Research Exposition (CITREX-2015-2020) and International Festival of Innovation on Green Technology (iFINOG-2016-2019).
  • Received the Extraordinary and Tremendous Academic Achievements Award from the embassy of Afghanistan based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2018)
