The demand for software professionals remains consistently high, and ICT specialists play a central role in a highly digitalised and AI-driven society. The degree programme focuses on modern software engineering technologies, current development practices, and emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, data-driven systems, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.


Your studies progress from solid fundamentals to practical skills in programming, web and mobile development, user interfaces, usability, and software regulations. In addition, you will gain competence in AI-assisted software development, big data systems, analytics, and scalable cloud-based solutions. Sustainability, ethics, and responsible use of technology are integrated throughout your studies.
 

The programme prepares you to work professionally in international and multidisciplinary environments, combining technical expertise with collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 

After graduation, you will have the competence to work in roles such as software engineer, software developer, software architect, software consultant, data or AI engineer, web or mobile application developer, or cloud solution specialist – to name just a few.

NEXT APPLICATION PERIODS: 

 

15 November 2026 - until all places are fulfilled, or latest 28 February 2027 for August 2027 start

Rolling Admission. Students are admitted based on grades achieved in the previous education or SAT scores + and an interview for eligible candidates.

Important dates:

  • 8 - 10 December 2026 - first interview rounds
  • 31 December 2026 - first admission results published
  • 5., 7- 8 January 2027 - second interview rounds (if all places are not fulfilled after the first interview round)
  • 2 - 4 February 2027 - third interview rounds (if all places are not fulfilled after the first and second interview round)
  • 15 March 2027 - all admission results published at the latest

     

7 - 21 January 2027 for August 2027 start

Students are admitted through the International UAS Exam or SAT scores

Important dates:

  • 21 January - submit your application with passport copy and language proficiency documents
  • March test date - final SAT test accepted for this application round
  • mid-March - complete the pre-identification for the UAS Exam
  • 23 March - participate in the UAS Exam at 12 noon (Finnish time UTC/GMT+2)
  • 14 April - results of student selection with YAS Exam published, first offers go out!
  • 6 July - results of student selection published at the latest
