Responsible RDI
Tampere University of Applied Sciences is committed to the national Declaration for Open Science and Research. Openness in our RDI activities covers the operating culture, publishing, as well as the openness of research data and learning.
We conduct research and development in an ethically sustainable manner and in accordance with good scientific practice. We communicate about our RDI activities and their results responsibly.
In research assessment, we follow the international DORA Declaration and the national recommendations for responsible evaluation of researchers. We develop our assessment practices in line with the CoARA commitments.
Research integrity
Research ethics competence is a fundamental skill for researchers, and consideration of ethical issues is an essential part of every RDI project from start to finish. We are committed to following the guidelines of the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity on good scientific practice and the handling of alleged violations of research integrity.
Open RDI
Openness is a key element of responsible RDI. We develop the competences of all staff in the areas of open science and research and promote open learning. Our activities are guided by national and international policies and recommendations on open science and research.
