About me

Zheying Zhang received her Ph.D degree in computer science and information systems from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland in 2004, and the title of Docent (Adjunct professor) in software development from University of Tampere in 2013. She has over 15 years research and teaching experience in requirements management; and her research interests include requirements analysis, domain modelling, quality assurance and process improvement, data driven approach for software development and maintenance, and AI-assisted requirements management.

Current research interests and topics for Master's thesis on

  • AI4SE, e.g. AI for requirements management, quality assurance, agile project management, DevOps pipelines, etc.
  • Data-driven software evolution analysis
  • Quality attributes and software quality assessment, e.g. OSS, medical device software, etc.
  • Cross-disciplinary topics on software engineering such as software engineering education, ethics, etc.
  • Industry-specific applications
  • Other innovative and relevant topics
