Study level
Studies consist of the first-year studies of the degree programme. You will study full-time together with the degree programme´s student group. Two (2) study places are reserved for Open UAS students.
The enrollment period starts on 29 July at 9.00 am and ends on 30 July at 11.59 pm. If study places remain available after the enrollment period, the period may be extended. Study places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and registration takes place in our online store.
The fee for the open route studies is 300 euros, and it is paid at the time of enrollment.

The fee for the first year is the same for all students. However, if you apply for aand are admitted as a degree student and you are not an EU/EEA citizen, standard tuition fee will apply.
Degree application and student selection
You can apply for admission to the degree programme based on your Open UAS studies. If you start route studies in autumn 2026, you will be eligible to apply for degree student status through the Open UAS Route application in studyinfo.fi in May 2027.
Student selection is based on:
• the number of completed credits
• study success
• interview if necessary
Study success means the GPA of the studies completed during your Open UAS Route Studies. If necessary, students are placed in order by their GPA (highest to lowest).
Required amount of credit points 50 cr must be completed by 31 July 2027. The study right will be granted from the beginning of next term.
Student Benefits
Open UAS students are not eligible for Kela student financial aid or other student benefits. If you are a customer of employment services, please check your study eligibility with them before registering for Open UAS studies.
