The course language is english.During this course, you will study the basics of futures studies and foresight. - You understand and are able to describe the basic features and terminology of futures studies and foresight. - You understand and are able to describe the foresight process. - You are able to distinguish between everyday futures thinking and futures studies and foresight practice. The course is an independent part of three online futures studies courses. It is recommended that you complete the courses in this order: 1. NN00HD38 Introduction to Futures Studies and Foresight, 1 cr 2. NN00HD39 Types of Futures Knowledge, 1 cr 3. Tämän toteutuksen aikana opiskelet tulevaisuuksien tutkimuksen ja ennakoinnin perusteita. - Ymmärrät ja pystyt kuvailemaan tulevaisuuksien tutkimuksen ja ennakoinnin peruskäsitteitä ja terminologiaa. - Ymmärrät ja pystyt kuvailemaan ennakoinnin prosessin. - Pystyt erottamaan arkipäiväisen tulevaisuusajattelun tulevaisuuksien tutkimuksen ja ennakoinnin käytännöistä. Tämä toteutus on itsenäinen osa kolmen tulevaisuuksien tutkimuksen ja ennakoinnin opintojakson kokonaisuudesta. Suosittelemme, että suoritat toteutukset tässä järjestyksessä: 1. Evaluation is based on completing the exam presented in the course Moodle. The course needs to be completed on 31.8.2027 at the latest.
