The course prepares the student to develop concepts for user-centered interactive applications and test them. The student applies design thinking and turns user needs into user interface functionalities and visual look and feel. After completing the course, the student • Knows the user-centered design principles and design processes • Understands the role of user-centric design in business success • Makes design decisions based on user needs and sustainability requirements • Applies different UX methods, such as research, ideation, modelling, low-fidelity prototyping and testing • Works fluently in a designer group and uses collaborative design tools
