For example, studying intermediate studies may require some completed basic studies. These are described on the Information about studies tab of the study unit under prior requirements.</p><p>When you have been admitted to the studies, you must enrol separately via the Sisu information system for the implementation of the unit of study and, for example if set, for a practise group of your choice. You will receive instructions on how to do this by e-mail after you have confirmed your acceptance of the study place by paying the required fee.</p>

<p>The IT environment, data security and data protection at the University, general operating systems, file management, data compression, familiarization with Moodle, basic use of Office 365 and its tools supporting teamwork.</p>

<p>On completion of the exercises, the student will know the IT environment needed for their studies, will be aware of the main security issues, and will be able to use Office 365 tools in a versatile way.</p>

<p>Kick-off lecture, online exercises. Assignments are completed independently and submitted to Moodle. Participation in the lecture is not mandatory. A certain number of assignment points is a requirement to complete the course.</p>
