Publication of student selection results for admissions to Tampere University master's programmes
Results
All applicants will be informed by email of the results of the student selection. The admissions committees in the faculties have different schedules and therefore it is not possible to be informed on the status of your application during the selection process.
Accepting your study place
If you are offered a study place at Tampere University, you will receive additional information and instructions on what further actions are needed in order for you to start your studies. You must officially accept the study place by the given deadline at Studyinfo.fi. If you are offered a study place, you will receive a link directly from Studyinfo.fi, sent to the email address you provided in your application. Use this link to accept the study place.
Most offers of admission are conditional on submitting officially certified or legalised documents. See your Letter of Acceptance to see if a condition applies to you. Conditions may not apply if you have submitted officially certified or legalised documents at the time of applying. In order to be able to register as a student, you will not only need to accept the offered study place but also submit the necessary documentation to fulfil your specific conditional acceptance.

The provision of one study place per term in Finland applies. For more information, please see below.
The general deadline to accept the study place for non-tuition and full-tuition-paying students is 9 July 2026 at 15.00 UTC +3. However, if you wish to take advantage of the early bird offer or if you have been awarded a Tampere University scholarship, the deadline to accept the study place is earlier than mentioned above. By accepting the study place, you will also accept the offered scholarship, if this applies to you. Please follow the instructions included in your acceptance email.
If you do not accept the study place by the given deadline, you will forfeit your place in the programme.
Tuition fees and scholarships
If you wish to take advantage of the early bird offer, you must pay your reduced first year tuition fee and accept your study place within the deadline specified in your acceptance email. Please follow the instructions included in your acceptance email carefully!
If you are awarded a Tampere University scholarship, please check the deadline for accepting your study place and scholarship in the scholarship letter which you will receive enclosed in your acceptance letter. If you do not accept the study place and scholarship by the deadline given in your scholarship letter, you will forfeit your scholarship. Please note that the early bird offer is not available to applicants who have a Tampere University scholarship.
