How to apply to Bachelor’s and Master’s

Bachelor's programmes

You can apply to our Bachelor's programmes in the national joint application to higher education, which means that you can apply to up to six degree programmes in one or several higher education institutions in Finland with one application form.

Master's programmes

Universities of applied sciences offer mid-career Master's. This means that to be eligible for Master’s degree studies, you must have completed a suitable higher education degree and have at least two years (24 months) of relevant work experience after completing the degree.

Alternative routes to degree-leading education

Open path application

Open path application is for students already enrolled in open university studies for their first year at any Finnish university or university of applied sciences and aim at degree enrollment at TAMK. 

Next application period: 2 - 16 May 2024

Transfer application

Transfer application is aimed at students enrolled in studies leading to a Finnish higher education degree and who wish to transfer their study right from one Finnish higher education institution to TAMK.

Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) welcomes exchange students from international partner universities with whom we have a bilateral exchange agreement.

Tuition fees and scholarships

Tuition fees apply to non-EU/EEA citizens studying in Bachelor's or Master's degree programmes offered in English at TAMK. TAMK offers scholarship waiver options for all students who are subject to tuition fees.

Financing your stay

Planning a budget for your studies is important as all the students at TAMK must fund their studies and living expenses themselves. Check also the Study & Stay programme, which supports international students to study, live and work - or start a business- in the Tampere Area.
