Open UAS
What is Open UAS?
At the Open University of Applied Sciences, everyone can study UAS courses, regardless of age and basic education. The studies are suitable for individuals in a wide range of life situations; whether you are having a gap year, want to try studying without having to commit to a whole degree, are looking for continuous learning opportunities or want to study just for fun, open UAS is right for you.
The course offering of open UAS consists of courses and study modules from TAMK's degree programmes. Teaching takes place either in degree student groups with pre-reserved places for open UAS students, or in separate groups of open UAS students.
The studies are subject to a fee. The price is a maximum of 15 € / credit.

Are you wishing to become a degree student?
Open UAS route studies can be your path to degree studies. After you have finished the route studies, you can apply for admission to the degree programme through the application on the basis of Open UAS studies. If you are accepted, the route studies will be credited into your degree.
If you are not yet sure, what you would like to study in the future, open UAS courses give you an opportunity to try different fields one course at a time. If you then decide to apply for degree studies, the studies you have completed in open UAS will be credited into your degree.

Were your degree studies at TAMK left unfinished? You can complete your missing studies in Open UAS, regardless of the number of credits you are missing. There is a fee for studying in Open UAS.
