Student access to campus facilities

Student access to campus facilities

All students at Tampere Universities can have access to the buildings and facilities on our campuses. Below you can read on to find out more about activating your access rights.

Campus buildings are open from Monday to Friday also to University community external persons. Staff, students and non-employees, who have a resource agreement and a key card, will be able to access the campus buildings with their key card before and after mentioned times.

The EXAM venues will be open to students during the times when their access rights are activated.
Exam visits (exams taken by students from other higher education institutions) are possible in the Tietotalo building on the Hervanta campus on weekdays Mon-Fri and TAMK main campus.

At TAMK, student access rights will remain activated on the TAMK main campus on weekdays from 7 to 22, on Saturdays from 7.30 to 20, and on Sundays from 8 to 20.

Check the Library's opening hours on web page Tampere University Library.

The opening hours of the sports facilities can be found Sportuni web page .

Please continue to follow the safety and health instructions on all our premises:

  •     Come to campus only completely healthy.
  •     Wash hands and use hand disinfectant.

Students on the Kauppi and city centre campuses

Your student card will automatically provide access to the facilities that are open 24/7 in the Arvo, Linna and TietoPinni buildings and PinniA Gatehouse as well as certain facilities that are open to all students enrolled in your degree programme. You can visit any of the info desks on the Hervanta campus to activate access rights to facilities on the Hervanta campus. Access to TAMK’s facilities you can activate to your access card at the info desks on the TAMK main campus.

After you visit the info desk and activate these access rights, you will be able to access the premises with your student card.
