The profiling area of "Games as a Platform to Tackle Grand Challenges" is the Academy of Finland awarded strategic research area (PROFI6) of Tampere University that is focused on wielding and understanding the potential of games, gamification and extended realities in addressing the many grand wicked challenges of our reality.
The profiling area is a research platform composed out of a multi-disciplinary collaboration of scholarship around the holistic area of gamification at the Tampere University community.
