Multiple job holding – practices and institutional frame

The study deals with multiple job holding: variation by profession, motives and paths to multiple job holding and institutional frame. Multiple job holding – concept is as follows: having many income and employment sources which overlap in various ways. Wage earning or/and self-employment are combined in various ways. Multiple job holding may be forced (for example underemployment) or voluntary (for example a choice related to life-course). Theoretically it relates to precarious work, self-employment and untypical employment contract but it is not identical with them.
