Employment and Social Security Careers of the Population out of Labour Force

I study how social security – both social benefits and services – helps or hinders people from entering into meaningful work careers. I use the Statistics Finland's FOLK total register of all working-age people living in Finland, from 1988 up until the present, to visualise the employment and social security careers of the unemployed populations over time.

The study is funded by the Kone Foundation.
