Paula Mäkinen

Currently working as doctoral researcher in the Faculty of Management and Business (August 1, 2024 onwards) and participating in the national I-DEEP doctoral education pilot. My research interests include technology management, innovation commercialization, and business development. My research focuses on the evolution of business models in spinoffs originating from universities and state-owned research institutes during the process of innovation commecialization.

Before joining the university, I worked for 20 years in the service business in middle management positions.
