About me
Kauppila is a doctoral researcher with background in materials science. She has over three years of experience in working with biomaterials for tissue engineering, including hydrogels with tunable mechanical properties and scaffolds for stem cell delivery. Currently, she is working with in vitro tissue model development for limbal stem cells.
Responsibilities
PhD project with a topic of a native tissue mimicking limbus in vitro model for the development of corneal transplants.
