About me

I am an analytical and critical researcher with a strong interest in combining theoretical thinking with practice-oriented research. During my relatively short career, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of research projects employing diverse methods and data across varying research contexts. In my doctoral dissertation, I examine the governance of cost-reduction initiatives in strategic procurement within large manufacturing companies. I approach research as a process in which effort, learning, and the continuous questioning of one’s own assumptions are central. I use discussion and interaction as tools for thinking and aim to make visible the underlying structures behind phenomena rather than relying on oversimplified explanations.

Responsibilities

I work as a doctoral researcher in research projects, conducting studies using both qualitative and quantitative methods. I also contribute to research reporting and disseminate research findings at conferences and other expert events.

My teaching responsibilities include serving as the instructor in charge of a master’s-level course in the degree programme in Industrial Engineering and Management. In addition, I have acted as a guest lecturer in both bachelor’s- and master’s-level courses and have assessed master’s theses.

In my role as the AI lead of the Faculty of Management and Business, I work to develop the faculty’s AI competence by identifying opportunities for the responsible use of AI in teaching and research, monitoring the development of AI applications relevant to the faculty’s work, and communicating these developments regularly to faculty staff. As part of this role, I facilitate the faculty’s AI-team, which includes representatives from all units.
