Donate to Tampere University

Investing in research and education is the best way to ensure that people, society and the globe have a future. Research generates fresh ideas and novel solutions that have a positive impact on society. Research and science are important for us all.

Donate as a private individual

If you do not wish to designate your donation more specifically, you can make a general donation to our university. Your donation will be directed to our multidisciplinary fund, through which we support the work of our researchers across all fields of science.

Donate as an organisation

Your organisation may support the university’s work through a general donation without a specific designation. The donation will be directed to our multidisciplinary fund, through which we promote research and societal impact across all fields of study.

Why should I donate to the University?

Without universities, there would be no scientific knowledge or high-quality research-based education. Without education, there would be no experts who can boldly combine different fields of science and apply what they have learned to work settings. Without research and education, there would be no innovations, businesses or employment.

As a donor, you play a vital role in enabling Tampere University to generate research-based knowledge, expertise, culture, well-being and stability for society — foundations we can rely on in a changing world. Together, we can develop solutions to global challenges and promote sustainable development for the future.
