Studies for immigrants

Application timetable for study programmes and trainings can be found on the course description pages. Please note that some upcoming application periods might not be available on the website yet but will be updated later. Bachelor's programme in Nursing

This bilingual degree programme in Nursing is aimed at immigrants. The goal is that by the time of graduation, you will be able to work in health care services in Finland using the Finnish language.

Next application period: 3.-17.1.2024.

Continuing education: International Business and Logistics

The primary target group of this continuing education course is immigrants with a higher education degree who are either unemployed or at risk of becoming unemployed.  

For citizens of Ukraine

Preparatory education for higher education studies

In this programme, you familiarize yourself with different fields of study and options for you. You will acquire the basic skills required in higher education studies and receive personal career guidance and counselling to help you to decide what to do after the course.

Open UAS courses

Tampere University of Applied Sciences offers study possibilities for Ukrainians arriving in Finland due to the humanitarian crisis. We want to support Ukrainian citizens by offering possibilities to study open university courses without fees.

Information and support

We also offer SIMHE (Supporting Immigrants in Higher Education in Finland) Services, which include higher education guidance, counselling and support for immigrants living in Finland.
