Suggest TAMK Alumni of the Year 2023

We are looking for the next TAMK Alumnus/Alumna of the Year. Nomination period is 3 April – 5 May 2023 and we invite TAMK personnel, current students, our alumni and other TAMK enthusiasts to put forward their candidates for the title. We welcome suggestions from all over Finland as well as abroad. Who would you like to see as the next Alumnus/Alumna of the Year? What kind of a professional and from which field should, in your opinion, be entitled to represent TAMK this year?

Alumnus/Alumna of the Year is an honorary title given to a former student or an employee of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) or Pirkanmaa University of Applied Sciences (PIRAMK). The Alumnus/Alumna of the Year is a person who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in working life and serves as a role model and inspiration for the whole TAMK community.

We strongly encourage nominations from different epochs and fields of expertise.

TAMK Alumnus/Alumna of the Year has:

graduated from TAMK or PIRAMK in 1992 or after
actively fostered cooperation between TAMK, its alumni networks and society as a whole
demonstrated notable achievements in his/her field of expertise
made a societal impact within Finland or abroad
personified TAMK’s values and enhanced its reputation.

Suggest the Alumnus/Alumna of the Year 2023 by filling in this form by 5 May 2023.

TAMK’s alumni board will choose the Alumnus/Alumna of the Year. The name of the chosen person will be published in October 2023 during the nationwide alumni month.

TAMK’s Alumnus/Alumna of the year is now being chosen for the 5^th time. The current title holder is Henna Paakinaho, who graduated from TAMK in 2019 with Master’s in International Business and now works as a Recruitment Marketing Lead at Solita.
