Professor Juho Hamari among the world’s most highly cited researchers in 2023
Clarivate has just released its 2023 Highly Cited Researchers list, spotlighting trailblazers across diverse fields. This prestigious roster features 6,849 researchers from 67 countries, with 83.8% emerging from the top 10 nations countries and 72.7% in the top five, a remarkable concentration of top talent. There are 16 researchers from Finland on the list this year. Our professor Juho Hamari is again o n the list.
Juho Hamari is a Professor of Gamification, he has published more t han 200 peer-reviewed research articles primarily in the areas of information science, computer science (especially in the area of HCI), applied psychology, and businessand management studies
The annual list identifies researchers who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. Their names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science citation index.
