A 2-hour long pre-arrival online information session is organised for new spring semester 2024 exchange students. The invitation with a link has been sent to all admitted exchange students by email in November 2023. The slides and the recorded video from the information session will be published by email.
At least the following themes will be covered during the pre-arrival information session:
- How to understand our campuses and our higher education community
- How to plan your studies and prepare for final course registrations
- Your next steps and good things to know
- The identification and registration process with the university
- Your TUNI account
- All important deadlines to remember
- Our international student tutoring and what it means
- The Student Union membership fee and how to get a student card
- Erasmus+ certificates and other confirmations, other required forms
- Our mobile app to meet other students already before your arrival (how to register etc.)
- How to live with TOAS
- Greetings from INTO and ESN FINT, their services and upcoming events and trips
- We also will answer some of your questions sent to us beforehand during the information session and additional questions at the end
- A Finland Quiz will be organised online with a chance to win some prizes!
