New professors of Tampere University present their work in video lectures

A group of new professors who have recently joined Tampere University present their work in a video lecture. In the 10-minute lectures, the professors introduce their field and current research to a wider audience. Get to know our new professors and research that has an impact!

In recorded inaugural lectures, new professors present their work to the scientific community, stakeholders and wider audience. This year, the lectures will be delivered by 12 newly appointed professors from different fields.

The professors are presented on a website and all the videos can be watched via Tampere University’s YouTube channel. The videos have English and Finnish subtitles.

“We are happy to introduce our new professors in video lectures and welcome them to the University community. The lectures reflect the multidisciplinarity of our university,” Provost Jarmo Takala says.
