In 2021, a total of 2040 students in nine fields of study will graduate from Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Furthermore, an increasing amount of Open UAS studies and other extensive studies have been completed.

“Year 2021 has been quite challenging due to the Covid19 pandemic, among other things. During the autumn we have created a portfolio of new kind of services to support the studies and wellbeing of our students,” says Päivi Karttunen.

Even in these exceptional times the number of graduates has remained on a high level.

”We managed to open our campuses in October – following the health safety instructions – and this has helped arranging the teaching especially in practical studies and consequently the graduations.”

In the multidisciplinary TAMK this year a total of 1505 students graduate with a bachelor’s degree and 295 students with a master’s degree. A professional teacher’s education is completed by 240 students.

The celebration day for TAMK graduates of the autumn season is Friday 17 December. The graduates get their greetings via video on TAMK’s YouTube channel at 10 o’clock. The best theses are awarded and a number of scholarships donated.
