The Foundations forming the Foundation’s Post Doc Pool have awarded 27 grants to post-doctoral scholars totalling some €1.28 million. The purpose of the Pool is to promote the internationalisation of Finnish research. At Tampere University, funding was granted to five employees or people who have completed their doctorate at the University.

On 18 April 2023, the Foundations granted a total of €1.275.000 to research conducted abroad. In addition, the Foundations reserved a total of €449.000 for second-year grants based on previous commitments.

The Pool will organise its next application round from 15 August to 15 September 2023 to award some €1.8 million in grants. The results of the application round will be published in November-December 2023.
