Loan service fees
Overdue fee / loan / day
The fees accumulate daily after due date.
- Course books and reference books: 0,50 €, max 25 € / loan
- Overnight loans: 10 €, max 30 € / loan
- Starts accumulating right after 10 am
- Other materials: 0,20 €, max 10 € / loan
- Other loanable devices, lockers, etc.: 0,20 €, max 10 € / loan
Replacement fees
The items are marked as lost, if they are still not returned 50 days after due date.
- Lost or damaged items*: acquisition costs of new material, no less than 80 €
- Locker key: purchase price of a new key
- Library card for replacing lost or damaged one: 5 €
*A book can also be replaced by bringing a new copy. Please contact the library for the arrangement.
If the amount of your unpaid fees is 25 euros or more, you will be banned from borrowing. When banned, you can't borrow or renew your loans. The block will be deleted, when you have paid your fees online in Andor or at the Library customer service.
We will send you an invoice, if you do not return your loans. In connection with invoicing, overdue fees related to the material will be also invoiced. Unpaid invoices are handed to a debt collection agency according to University's financial administration practices. In connection with invoicing, late fees related to the material will be also invoiced.
The fees charged by the library are based on the Universities Act (558/2009), the State Basic Fees Act (150/1992) and the Government Decree (1082/2009) on fees charged for the activities of universities and Act 513/1999 on debt collection.
