Arvo self-service unit
The Library is located in Arvo building's 1st floor on Kauppi campus. Arvo has course books and journals on medicine, biomedical sciences and health sciences and resources for medical specialisation requirements.

Bookable group study rooms
The group work spaces in the library are for study and research purposes. Rooms can be booked Mon–Fri 8–22. On other times they can be used without a booking.
You can book study rooms in Resource Booker. You can book a room 7 days in advance. One booking is max 2 hours. One person can book rooms max 2 times a day and 4 times a week.
When booking a group study room please remember:
- Be on time, the room becomes available for others 15 minutes after your booking time if you are not there.
- If you are not able to come, please cancel your booking in Resource Booker.

Classroom
Arvo library's classroom Mauri (B109) on floor 1 is available for study purposes outside teaching hours with the key card on weekdays between 8:00 and 19:00. The classroom cannot be reserved. The weekly course schedule can be seen on the screen beside the classroom door and in Resource Booker. The use of classroom computers requires tuni user account. The teacher's computer is only for staff use. Please, consider the other users and take care of peaceful studying environment.
Learning spaces on 1st floor
In Arvo self-service unit there are many studying spots with or without computers and a silent reading room. Please, consider the other users and take care of peaceful studying environment.
The facilities are accessible for the students of Tampere Universities with the key card 24/7. If you have problems with access rights, please contact the Info.
The unit is open with self-service Mon–Fri 8–16, with key card 24/7.
Borrow and return
- You can borrow books with the lending machines. The machines are located near the entrances.
- Requested books can be collected with self-service. Remember to check out the books you have requested.
- Return your loans with the lending/returning machine, wich is located near the main entrance.
- If the machine is out of order, you can leave the books to the box beside it or return the item to another unit of the library.
- The nearest outside return box is located at the TAMK Main campus, at the Teiskontie entrance.

- You can pay your possible fees online in Andor.
Premises
- All library spaces are in use Mon–Fri 8–16, with key card 24/7.
