About me
I work as a Staff Scientist in the unit of Materials Science and Environmental Engineering at the faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Tampere University. I am responsible for the chemistry laboratories on the Hervanta campus in Festia together with the laboratory staff. I work as part of the Chemistry and Advanced Materials (CAM) sub-unit.
Responsibilities
I am responsible for the chemistry laboratory infrastructure at Festia, which consists of analytical equipment, student laboratories, synthesis and laser laboratory. Analytical equipment includes e.g. NMR, FTIR and ICP-MS (in Sähkötalo). My responsibilities include research support, user’s training, maintenance of devices, laboratory orientations, teaching, the procurement planning and processing, and planning laboratory facilities for chemistry in the Sähkötalo Research Hub project.
