Welcome to the seminar on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The Customer-Oriented Marketing Research Group and the NOVI – Research Group for Information and Knowledge Management invite you to the seminar on artificial intelligence and machine learning on 28.06.2022 at 9.30-16.00 at TAU Linna 5014. During this day, we will have presentations from international researchers that make use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in marketing and consumer research. The workshop in the afternoon is an opportunity to explore and initiate research collaborations among those interested in these topics.

PRESENTERS

Associate Professor Vinícius Brei is Research Affiliate & Connection Science Fellow at MIT Media Lab (http://connection.mit.edu/vinicius-brei) from USA and Associate Professor of Marketing / Chair Tramontina Eletrik at UFRGS School of Management (www.ufrgs.br/escoladeadministracao/professor/vinicius-andrade-brei) from Brazil. He is interested in business/customer analytics target at market potential estimation/development. 

Cameron McRae is a PhD student at McGill University (https://www.mcgill.ca/desautels/cameron-mcrae) from Canada. His research interests are consumer health, food marketing, health informatics, and consumer behavior.

Sami Rusthollkarhu is a doctoral researcher in the unit of Industrial Engineering and Management at Tampere University (https://www.tuni.fi/en/sami-rusthollkarhu). His research focuses on digital value creation, artificial intelligence, B2B sales management, and circular economy value creation. Sebastian Toukola, Professor Leena Aarikka-Stenroos, and Dr. Tommi Mahlamäki are co-authors in this project.

Raghava Mukkamala is the director of the Centre for Business Data Analytics (https://cbsbda.github.io/) and an associate professor at the Department of Digitalization, Copenhagen Business School (CBS). He is also the programme director for the Master's Programme in Data Science at CBS. His current research interests focus on big data analytics, data science, blockchain technologies, and cybersecurity. Combining formal/ mathematical modeling approaches with machine learning techniques, his current research program seeks to develop new methods for big data analytics.
