ATEE Association for Teacher Education in Europe and EduSTA (Academy for Sustainable Future Educators) project invite you to a webinar on sustainability and teacher education. Join us to discuss innovative European examples of integrating sustainability competences into teacher education and teacher professional development with the help of digital open badges.

Webinar: Novel Ways to Support Teachers’ Sustainability Competences with Digital Open Badges

When: 3 September 2024 at 15.30–17.30 CET (at 16.30–18.30 Finnish time)

Program

  • Welcoming words and agenda: Mariagrazia Tagliabue, ATEE and Eveliina Asikainen, TAMK (10 min)
  • Opening presentation on digitalisation and learning for sustainability, Policy Officer Deirdre Hodson, Coordinator of European Commission Working Group on learning for sustainability (15 min + 5 min for questions)
  • Defining teacher’s sustainability competences in EduSTA, Eveliina Asikainen (15 min + 10 min for questions)
  • Presentations of pilots: Sweden, Czech, Catalonia, the Netherlands and Finland (10 min each)
  • Closing discussion, feedback and comments
