Funded by the European Union
Tampere University of Applied Sciences
Duration of project1.10.2025–30.9.2027

The CEME project, Cultivating Entrepreneurial Mindset for Employment via Entrepreneurial Pedagogy in Higher Education, strengthens entrepreneurial education in European higher education. It builds the capacity of higher education institutions to create and update curricula that incorporate entrepreneurial pedagogies, enables them to assess the impact of education from an entrepreneurial perspective, and supports students in developing a comprehensive entrepreneurial mindset and skills based on the EntreComp framework.

Background

The project addresses a common challenge: entrepreneurial mindset and competence frameworks are often complex, inconsistently applied, and difficult for both students and educators to understand and use effectively. CEME is needed to provide a coherent framework, practical tools, and teacher support that help higher education institutions embed entrepreneurial learning into curricula, improve student employability, and better prepare graduates for rapidly changing labour markets.

Goal

The goal of the project is to develop a practical framework, tools, and training that help higher education institutions embed entrepreneurial mindset and competence development into curricula and teaching. Strengthen educators’ capacity to apply entrepreneurial pedagogy, improve assessment practices, and enhance students’ employability, adaptability, and readiness for entrepreneurial and professional careers.

Impact

The project strengthens the capacity of higher education institutions to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and competences through improved pedagogy, curriculum integration, and assessment practices. Its impact is expected to enhance student employability, support innovation, and help graduates adapt to changing labour market demands.
