TAMK Alumni of the Year
Alumni of the Year is an honorary title given to a former student or an employee of TAMK (prev. PIRAMK). Alumni of the Year is a person who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in working life and serves as a role model and inspiration for the whole TAMK community.
Alumni of the Year 2025
Moe Mustafa
Our alumnus of the year is Moe Mustafa! He is a versatile artist who has studied a Bachelor's Degree in Culture and Arts at TAMK.
By his example, he encourages everyone to use their own voice and tell their story.
When I'm completely honest in my work and don't try to hide anything, I take people with me on that journey, and in some way, the story becomes meaningful to them as well.

How the the Alumni of the Year is selected?
The nomination period is typically in April-May. TAMK’s five faculties nominate 1-2 candidates each, after which the list of nominees is passed on to TAMK’s President and CEO. The final decision is made by the Executive Board.
Criteria for Alumni of the Year:
- a graduate from TAMK or PIRAMK (year 1992 or after)
- promotes cooperation between TAMK, society and community at large
- a societal influencer in Finland and/or abroad
- strengthens TAMK’s reputation as a higher education institution
- a pioneer and multidisciplinary player in working life
The title holder will be announced in October during the national alumni month of the Finnish universities of applied sciences.
