This new degree programme combines a broad foundation in business with Finland-specific professional studies and offers an approach not found in other business administration programs. Finnish language studies, combined with applied courses, ensure that students not only study in Finland but also genuinely acquire the skills needed to stay in Finland after graduation, to work and advance their careers in Finland. The new degree program also provides international students the opportunity to develop the skills needed to start and run their own business in Finland.

The degree program is specifically designed to develop the competencies and skills that, according to a view repeatedly expressed by Finnish employers, international job seekers currently lack to a sufficient degree. These include, for example, an understanding of Finnish corporate culture, business practices, and legislation.

  • First Year – Introduction to Business in Finland
  • Second Year – Deepening Competence and Applied Projects
  • Third Year – Professional Exposure
  • Fourth Year – Bachelor's Thesis and Developing Professional Expertise
The Business in Finland programme does not offer set specialisation options in the same way as some traditional BBA programmes. Instead, students have the flexibility to tailor their expertise by selecting 30 credits of elective professional studies according to their personal interests and career goals. In addition, the curriculum includes approximately 10 credits of free-choice studies, allowing further personalisation of the degree. This structure enables each student to build a unique professional profile.
